    Sharif studied psychology at the Hebrew University. After working in Israeli and Greek television and in journalism he ran a successful world music company. He returned to the Hebrew University to study the history and civilisation of Palestine and then qualified as a tour guide. Sharif leads tours in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
